Five years later after working as a Charge Telemetry Nurse and an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse, she completed her graduate degree of as Master’s of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Because of this, Angelic Clinical Services, LLC was launched in 2016 with a focus in reaching homebound patients when necessary and providing quality primary care services to her community in a personalized and professional manner. It is her true belief that one of her purposes in life is to care for others as she would want someone to care for her or her family

For many years, Dr. Wilson has been fascinated with the field of psychiatry and psychology.  Caring for her patients with mental health and psychiatric disorders from a specialists perspective is a goal that she sought out after completion of her doctorate degree.  In June 2025, Dr. Wilson successfully obtained her board certification as a Mental Health Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and qualifies as a dual-certified nurse practitioner.  She is excited about being able to utilize her training to ensure that her patients are cared for not only physically, but mentally as well.

What is a Nurse Practitioner?

Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who has pursued advanced clinical education and training beyond that of a registered nurse (RN).  After completion of either a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), NPs must be licensed in the state in which they practice and successfully pass a national board certification examination in their specialty of interest.  The clinical competency and specialized knowledge of NPs allow them to confidently provide direct patient care by:

While the extent of autonomy for a NP varies by state from independent full practice authority to restricted practice, NPs provide patient-centered care and collaborate with other health care team members, including licensed physicians.

According to the American Nurse Practitioner Association, NPs have made a huge contribution to filling critical gaps in primary and specialty care services.  NPs also are trained to provide comprehensive care to the whole person while bringing a nurturing touch to health care.
